Gently down the stream

Mrs Blackbird

We had some pretty sun early this morning and again round lunchtime, but mostly today's been grey and bitterly cold.  I walked to town through the nature reserve and when I got back it took me a couple of hours to warm up.

Still, spring is progressing: the elder leaves have been bursting their buds for a few days now and the nettles are poking noses out of the earth.  There are blackbirds everywhere, grubbing about in the grass and under dead leaves.  This Mrs did raise her head once but on the whole was too busy to care about internet stardom.

Most of the rest of the day's been spent in neutral.  It's Sunday, after all..

Hope the start of the week goes well for you and have a happy evening  xx
