Over the Road

After the excitement of the previous day, it was good to just go somewhere local. And where better than another Manrique creation.. the Jardin de Cactus. A fine little place (‘especially if you like cacti’ as one reviewer helpfully noted) with a cafe to sit and have coffee and cake. Manrique’s own Dobbies.
Back to lounge in the hot sun with blue skies all afternoon, before heading out to witness the start of Haria’s Medieval Pageant. The local kiddie dancing school, jugglers, drag queens and other assorted acts all to pumping Europop. And the grand finale - the Comparsa Los Cumbacheros! They’re really spoiling us.
