Scary or what!

This is a giant's head made some years ago by Corinthian Column's husband R for a different Panto. Waiting on stage for a brief appearance at the beginning of today's matinee when he is firmly told that 'this is not about you' by Granny Hood and it isn't but our story does contain almost every character you can think of!
He is then taken upstairs out of the way but one of our younger member's daughter who had had to be removed from the auditorium as she was scared of the baddie was not too impressed when she toddled over to find him lurking at the back of church near the toy box! (See Yorkshirebred)

Another heroic appearance by M our writer and director today. He stood in for another witch last night and has covered for a couple of people doing minor parts but today had to be Chicken Licken who is played by our eldest child performer.
He had to be helped into the costume by Wilsden Walker. It is quite a feat as it was made for my daughter who along with a friend played a couple of Pheasants, for reasons I can't remember and that must be over 20 years ago. We do recycle.

One last performance to go tonight. Some of our other whacky characters are Granny Hood, the big bad wolf's stunt double - he keeps getting blown up! - and Luciani the fairy godfather! There are lots more; Clangers; Humpty Dumpty (see Wilsden Walker yesterday https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2413863872382370515 );the Billy goats gruff; three little pigs; three blind mice and on and on not to mention the lead part characters, so I won't!
