Big snowstorm- Wild Wednesday

The ' Beast from the East'-  has finally reached us in central Scotland  with one of the  biggest snowstorms we have had for years with temperatures tonight at -10C  with wind chill.

In between the snow flurries the sun came out briefly and the landscape and garden looked very pretty. But not for long. 

We are snowbound. Sainsbury failed to deliver this morning and its unlikely we will see them for a couple of days. Fortunatley  we are stocked up with food. No sign of a gritter for our road and I suspect we wont see one for several days because we are low down on the council priority list.
