Feels Like Autumn

Another drive up to Darlington today, very foggy on the A1 with occasional sleet and snow showers (some heavy).

Called in to MIL’s house to switch on water and heating etc. as she is coming out of hospital tomorrow. We had lunch there (using up a couple of the ready meals we bought last week when we thought she was coming home)!

Then on to hospital to visit her, then another foggy drive home - at least it was light.

Out for a walk with Finlay and spotted an oak tree still with brown leaves attached…it was almost dark so I had to use flash to illuminate. They just added to the cold autumnal feel of the day.
