Put on the kettle!

Raspberry would love some of her favorite peppermint tea, she always shares my evening mug. It's a nasty, pre-nor'easter day, dark and rainy. T is working from home nursing a nasty cold on a very big work week. My lower back is bothering me, so I'm off to my chiropractor later this afternoon. The grocery store and Trader Joes were both mobbed this morning, pre-storm stocking up going on.

Some parts of town and a few surrounding towns are still without power. I saw lots of out of state power line repair trucks again today parked all over and on the road trying to get things back in order before the next storm. We seem to be in the rain and low snow accumulation zone this time with some wind and costal flooding. NYC,  Central Massachusetts  and on northward could get a huge storm.

I'm making some chicken soup for supper and hoping T feels better tomorrow. An improved back would be welcomed as well.

For the Record,
This day came in dark with rain showers. Another nor'easter is on the way for tonight into tomorrow. Another is rumored for Sunday night. Saturday best be nice, we have a special blipmeet in Boston.

All hands hoping to feel better.

Extras, An absolutely lovely gift of handmade glass by the Cornish artist, Jo Downs  from Dr. Precious & family arrived today. It already has pride of place in the sitting room. Someday we shall get to Cornwall ourselves!
