Of Red, Grey And Green And White Squirrels

An EB as I didn't get out with the camera today. I took MrQ to hospital for a cataract operation and spent the rest of the day on tenterhooks waiting for the call to collect him. It seems to have gone very well. :)

I read in the paper this morning that if pine martens were to be reintroduced it would be good for our native red squirrels as they prey on the introduced grey squirrels, which spend a lot of time on the ground. The lighter, more agile, reds scamper up to the ends of branches where they are safe from the pine martens.

I photographed the Ecureuil (Squirrel) helicopter belonging to the Gallagher Group from my back door.
