Kirkeatham Museum

Another very foggy day so we found ourselves on an indoor visit to see an exhibition at Kirkleatham Museum that displays the finds from an excavation of a large and important Anglo-Saxon cemetery. Lunch afterwards in the cafe was excellent, home made carrot & coriander soup with a very good wholemeal bread cheese and tomato chutney sandwich - followed by something sweet. Delicious.

We followed on with a shopping trip into a very foggy Redcar where I managed to find a cheap table easel that I can use for displaying a framed print at the forthcoming Art at the Altar exhibition.

Finally a very foggy drive across the North York Moors and we were back. I'm so glad I wasn't driving in the dark. (Another very foggy day this morning - three in a row - the weather has certainly made up for giving us two gorgeous days at the weekend!)
