Tea for One

Experimental Photography: Extreme Exposure II

"How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days?
Oh twenty-four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days
A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way
Sittin, lookin at the clock, time moves so slow
I've been watchin for the hands to move
Until I just can't look no more
How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seems to slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, Baby when I feel this way.

To sing a song for you, I recall you used to say
"Oh baby this one's for we two", Which in the end is you anyway

How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way.

There was a time that I stood tall, In the eyes of other men
But by my own choice I left you woman, And now I can't get back again

How come twenty-four hours, sometimes slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, Baby when I feel this way
A minute seems like a lifetime
When I feel this way...I feel this way"

Led Zeppelin ~ Tea for One

I was always a big fan of Zep growing up and at University.  Tea for One comes from their Presence album, which for reasons I don't know remember, I was listening to a lot around the time that I spent a year at the Chester College of Law for my Solicitors Finals.  John Bonham had already died at this point and it was pretty clear that the remaining members were were unlikely to ever work together again, let alone play together.

In fact Plant and Page did do some stuff together (from which the linked performance is taken) and they of course reformed to play a one off gig with John Bonham's son Jason on drums in London's 02 Dome  Needless to say I was not lucky enough to get a ticket for that one.

A high key shot today for Marcus's Experimental Photography challenge.  It is fair to say that it was much more difficult to achieve than yesterday's low key effort.  The exposure is unaltered but I have added a reverse vignette and slightly sharpened the image after the event - I've also made it mono to heighten the high key effect.

I realised  that if I played around with it some more I would be able to lose the right hand edge and some of the top edge of the cup against the background and I've added that processed "cheats" version as an extra :-)
