Bridge Building

I am counting a bridge as a building!  It was built, therefore it is a building!  This is a 'building' in Boston - an interesting suspension bridge across the Charles River - only for traffic and not pedestrians, unfortunately.  It was a very interesting time down by the river - some amazing shadows and reflections and distortions. J and I spent the day exploring/wandering the city without our hosts, finding some interesting places, although not what we set out initially to see (another story too long for Blip).

The blip is of the Leonard B. Zakim Memorial Bunker Hill Bridge - commonly known as the 'Zakim' Bridge across the Charles River; an extra is 'Charlie' who we got into conversation with on one of the foot bridges and a third of one of the water reflections I was photographing when we met Charlie.

Another super day.  Forecast for tomorrow is for lots of snow - we are quite excited as long as everything is clear for our return journey, currently scheduled for Thursday morning. If not we'll have to stay another day - that would be tough!
