SPRING HAS SPRUNG - AND IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!

After all our “antics” as quoted by a Blip friend, we had a good night’s sleep - and have slept for some of the morning too - I guess our bodies need time to adjust to life in a colder climate and having to do things we haven’t done for a month, like washing, ironing, making meals etc.

The snow has melted, the house is warm, the sun is shining, Spring has sprung - and nearly all is right with the world - but I won’t go into what isn’t!  Suffice to say we probably feel more like the little daffodil on the right, which are nodding at us from a pot just outside the conservatory!

It was great to go away on our trip of a lifetime, but it is so good to be back.  However, we do need to go and do some shopping as the cupboards are bare, so will make this short.

Thank you again for all your kindness during the past few weeks - I will get back to commenting gradually.

“If we had no winter,
the spring would not be so pleasant:
if we did not sometimes taste of adversity,
prosperity would not be so welcome."
