Special Treat

Miss L had her best friend's birthday party in Northampton this morning. I dropped her off at 10am at an enormous play centre and then headed off to the next door retail park to look at camper stuff in Wilkos and Halfords.
And for a sneaky sausage 'n' egg McMuffin, hash brown and tea. I do like a McDonalds breakfast!!
When I got back to the party I got chatting to one of the mums and discovered their house backs more or less onto our house. The middle chimney in this picture! What a small world! Miss L thinks it's hilarious that if she climbs over our back fence - and then climbs a few trees and another fence or two - she'll be in her friend Mr D's garden!!
After the party we met Mr K and Miss E in Go Outdoors in Milton Keynes to stock up on a few camper essentials - gas, thermal blinds, heater. And some not so essential treats - walking poles for the Little Misses (in preparation for all the hiking we're planning to do?!!!) and a new fleece for me.
God forbid we could go to Go Outdoors without taking out a second mortgage!!
When we got home Mr K put all the goodies in the camper and put the roof up so the Little Misses could get up there for the first time. There was much squealing!!
The  snow meant we couldn't go out in it as planned. Bloody weather!!
Following on from my healthy breakfast I decided to have a healthy dinner and join the Little Misses and Mr K in their pizza feast.
