Clocks

Bit of a contrast to yesterday morning-woke up late then took tea back to bed to read the paper and with the clocks going forward too it was 10am before I got up.
Bit of light housework then I set off to M&O’s house for lunch. The crocuses were fully in bloom and it was another lovely sunny day. They live on the same road as Sandy McCall Smith and Ian Rankin and can practically watch them both writing from their windows. Jolly family lunch talking about their new house plans, holidays and etc with their boys keeping up a running commentary about their favourite toys, first words and memories of being ‘little’. In some ways it seems no time ago at all that all mealtimes were like that for me too...and yet in others it’s a lifetime ago.
Home via a manicure and finished listening to Trevor Noah book, then a quiet evening knitting. I’ve ordered a wrist splint to try and manage the pain....can’t stop knitting yet though!
