Gently down the stream

By Miranda1008

May is out

..well it is round here, and looking at the current Beeb and Met Office forecasts the threat of snow over Easter seems to have receded - yay!  So get clout casting, UK blippers.

All I managed today was a short and gentle amble down by the stream to see if any wildflowers were out.  There was lots of blackthorn (prunus spinosa) - as here - also celandines and even a rogue patch of Spanish bluebells that, if not exactly out, were at least showing quite a lot of blue.  Very early for them, but it's a particularly sheltered spot and they're always out here first.  Most (English) bluebells won't be out for at least another month or more.

And yes, I am feeling a lot better than yesterday, so thank you for all your kind comments.  All I need now is a little more energy and another good night's sleep should fill up the tanks.

Have a good evening  xx
