Norfolk Roadtrip!

The dancing pigeon of Norwich!!

A cross country route across Norfolk this morning to Norwich, stopping off at a deserted Diss (first extra, everything was shut for Good Friday). After a visit to the cathedral, and a tasty all day breakfast, we followed a walking route around the medieval streets and alleyways of Norwich, I’ve never seen so many churches in one city. One of those churches, St Gregory’s of Pottergate (last extra), now houses an antiques centre where M bought me a beautiful glass scent bottle, and a chicken feeder! Last stop on our route was Norwich’s medieval castle which can be seen here towering over the market, and the dancing pigeon of Norwich!

Today’s extras give you a taste of our walking tour, on a cold, grey day. But at least it stayed dry right up until we returned to the car, then boy did it rain, the temperature dropping to 6 degrees! I’d definitely recommend Norwich for a visit, though preferably on a warm Summer’s day...
