More birthday cake?

A long walk into town and back for a coffee and the odd financial transaction. We managed to buy a few things that we didn’t know we wanted, like a plastic bowl for the porridge and a couple of reusable coffee mugs from Robert Dyas.

I went to the allotment in the afternoon while Susan her weekly dose of cleaning. I dug but also managed to plant some shallots and red onions.

It was a bit of a rush then to get down to Canterbury for the evening session of the Folk in the Barn 15th year anniversary festival. We saw Ross Ainslee and Ali Hutton, rounding the evening off with Show of Hands who were the first gig FitB put on 15years ago.

Simon Nicol of Fairport Convention, partner of FithB promotor was relegated to cutting and serving the birthday cake. And so, provided today’s blip.
