Compton Verney

It's not been an easy week for photography. The weather has been dull, grey, lifeless not ideal shooting conditions. Today the day get a little lighter, foretaste of what's due next week hopefully. We went to Compton Verney to meet Maureen and Ian for a cuppa and a chat. After tea they went off for a walk and we visited one of the exhibitions, Created in Conflict: British Soldier Art from The Crimean War to Today; a very interesting collection of arts and crafts created by members of the armed forces including drawings, art and material patchwork creations.

I sorted the phone out this morning after buying a pay as you go SIM for 99p. Once inserted WhatsApp installed and worked fine even with no credit on the card and mobile data switched off. Messaging, phone and video calling for free across the world, what's not to like?

The photo is the road bridge over the lake at Compton Verney.
