Kanazawa Park

The surprise here of course is that there is a beautiful castle in the grounds of the park in Kanawaza.  I really like the design of these Japanese castles.  This one does not have much of an interior to visit but the outside is so impressive.  

We have also visited the bustling and fascinating an oh so not to be eaten fish market and the beautiful Kenroku-En Garden which is purported to be one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan.  You can see part of the garden in the extras - a reflection across the Lake and the most beautiful blossom we have seen so far.  We have also learnt how to apply gold leaf to our own bento boxes to bring home!
