Happy Birthday

to me.

This day did not go as initially planned and definitely not the birthday I'd planned.  So many unforeseen upheavals in the day.  I'm just too emotionally drained to go into it all but perhaps one day I may share more of the story.

Sadly, Ruby and household got the flu today so it was suggested I stay away.  No birthday cake made by Ruby.  Postponed for another day.

We did follow through with our family dinner though (adults only) at my fave restaurant and it was wonderful to be surrounded by my loves.
