Small Tortoiseshell

My first butterfly of the year and apparently it is the national butterfly of Denmark - who knew eh?!
It looks a bit battered, so will be one of last years who has come out of hibernation for the warmest day of the year so far. 

It's been a very nice day, but I could only manage just over an hour at lunchtime as I had to do some work :( 

Finished now and posting early as I have a few jobs to do including laundry and making a chilli for when my husband returns from Edinburgh. Will catch up later with commenting I'm sure.
