Transition

I am feeling a bit under the weather today as my seasonal allergies seem to have overpowered all the medications I take to keep them at bay.  The temperatures were slightly warmer, but there was a fierce wind, so I only ventured out briefly to snap a few backyard bird shots.  The goldfinches are back and starting the change from their winter to summer colors.  They look pretty drab in the winter and when they are changing they can look quite mottled. This one didn't look too bad and you can see the yellow feathers starting to emerge.
