Rough Winds

Wide Wednesday 25.04: Movement

The Bard famously commented that "rough winds do shake the darling buds of May".  Its not quote May yet, but we've certainly got some rough winds this evening.

The winds have picked up during the course of the day, which meant that this blip of the crab apple blossom has been slightly harder to achieve than I originally thought it would be.  Trying to get the right combination of parts of the plant in motion contrasting with the still parts was much more difficult than planned. This is the best of the bunch of shots that I took.  And just in case you are wondering, those blurred blossom flowers were perfectly in focus in the shot before this one when the wind wasn't blowing :-)

Not much else to report here, I'm working rather hard at present to clear the decks which has meant an earlier start, a later finish and no lunch break.  It will be worth it shortly though.
