Tuesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers took us from Abronhill up to and around Palacerigg Country Park and Forest Wood Local Nature Reserve.

Palacerigg Country Park has a small rare breeds farm and one of the breeds on display during our visit was a couple of Kunekune Pigs (pictured). Although not native to New Zealand, that's where most of this breed are now situated.
