Spring lambs in Northumberland

This morning, with my mother at the wheel of the Volvo, we took a lamb safari along the Roman Wall. I was delighted to capture these happy twins near Newbrough.

By the time we returned to the house my father was up and dressed and looking forward to the Grand Prix. The appeal of this 'sport' I cannot fathom. Nevertheless I joined in and watched quite a lot of it, including an interesting crash.

Mr hazelh and I are now back at home after a straightforward train journey back to Edinburgh from Haydon Bridge via Newcastle.

It's been a good weekend, but we'll be back to the reality of cancer treatment in the morning.

Exercise today: minimal walking.
