The Evil Eye

We tend to chase the jackdaws away from the feeders when we see them there, but I guess they're just trying to make a living, the same as all the pretty little birds. As long as they don't want to build another nest in the chimney, I won't mind too much.
A very interesting gentleman, from the local historical records group, visited us at home this afternoon . He brought with him some original documents, and some copies, so that we could find out the history of the land that our property is built on. This will almost certainly mean a change of our house name at some point.
