Little Miss Gamers

I was treated to a game that the Little Misses invented tonight. It was hilarious!
And showed their pretty impressive grasp of technology!
Miss E had filmed herself upstairs with the Evil Overlord Rabbit and then somehow made that video appear on the TV downstairs.
As the Evil Overlord Rabbit darted about on the screen the Little Misses had to avoid being "caught" by him. There was much squealing and giggling. It was just brilliant!!
Who needs a Wii Fit when you can do it yourself?!!
It was nice to see Miss E back to her normal self. Last night she was in agony with stomach pains so we sent her off to bed with Calpol and a hot water bottle. I was hoping it would be better this morning but it wasn't. She often gets tummy ache but this seemed a bit different to normal - painful spasms and she felt boiling hot.
After dropping Miss L off at school I rang the doctors and got an appointment for Miss E just before lunch.
She went back to bed and snoozed until it was time to go.
The doctor was lovely and checked her over. I said that Miss E often gets tummy ache but I usually just dose her up and pack her off to school but this time was worse than usual. She warned me about appendicitis and said not to be complacent!!
Miss E had a bit of a temperature and the doctor said it was probably mesenteric lymphadenitis - a fancy name for inflamed lymph nodes in the intestine.
Obviously when Miss E gets some sort of infection it causes her tummy pain. Good to know it's nothing serious - although I am now an expert in the symptoms of appendicitis. Just in case!!
