London can be a surprising place, so many contrasts. I was woken at 4.40am by the dawn chorus and then when it got light, I watched the procession of planes flying from right to left (east to west) through Sarah's bedroom window. I like to look them up on Flight Radar and imagine those people who have been travelling all night from LA or wherever, getting ready to land at Heathrow and begin a new day in a new country.

We walked for miles this afternoon, just wandering, around Earlsfield, Wandsworth, Wimbledon.Sarah bought an amazing coat in a charity shop - handprinted with jungle animals. (see extra) We visited the Indian supermarket to stock up on spices and the owner, Aron, told us how to make lime pickle. Ended up in Tooting Market where we had vegan wraps at the Juice Bar.

This evening we went to plant some seeds. Hidden away between  the sprawling buildings of St George's Hospital is a small allotment area and Sarah has her own little plot. Such a peaceful place, some nice trees, birds singing.

We've just eaten a lovely curry which Sarah made earlier and she's   playing  her ukulele. Precious times.
