Guess How Many Sweets

A beautiful morning.  I had lots to do, but went for a  wee run in the sun to start my day.  The air was still cool, which made for lovely running conditions.

I then had a few things to get ready for the jumble sale and BB and I headed down to help with the last of the setting up.  We were all agreed, that we have never had so much stuff, which led us to consider where does it all come from and the fact that we all buy far too much stuff!

We had a good day, and made almost £2000, which was a great result.  One of the biggest headaches, is always what to do with the stuff which is leftover.   We had a charity who supports refugees who took a lot of stuff and another that supports homeless people who took a lot of stuff, and local charity shops were delighted to receive some stuff too.  It’s always good to think it is going somewhere it will be used, rather than into landfill.

We eventually got home after 5pm, and I was exhausted.  However, we were heading out to visit friends, so we had to get ready for that.  We had a lovely evening, it was so nice to sit down and relax after a busy couple of days.

I made up a jar of sweets, for guess how many sweets in the jar – here are the sweets.
