Finally....

Tuttle Jnr's Hi-Fi separates set up. Took a while after sorting out all his stuff to make room..... stuff he forgot he had.... stuff he had no idea existed in his bedroom. You know the score. Bought some 28mm desk tops from Ikea yesterday and are now fixed into place, square, level and flush. Still loads to do though.

The separates are mostly hand-me-downs from me. I kept the old CD player, tuner, amp from when I upgraded each time over the years. But never my turntable! That is his next step. Being the vinyl frantic he is, Tuttle jnr will be buying a Project turntable very soon. His first Hi Fi upgrade! Next comes expensive speaker cable, inter connects, bi wire speakers, more speaker cable, tape deck, phono stage......
.....Happy boy, until he realises how much money it'll cost him!
Hi Fi has changed so much over the years. Strange how buying a CD player is rarer than buying a record player now. Something that many in the 90s thought would never happen. Good to hear Sony have recently kick started their vinyl pressing factory again after leaving it to collect dust for two decades. Which is just as well because the other remaining record pressers are having trouble keeping up with demand.....
Time to upgrade my home built turntable.
