Wonderful wow factor Wednesday

Ney club lunchtime concert - a performance of traditional Ottoman Sanat (Art, or Classical) music.  The instruments from left to right: küdüm (drums); ney (bamboo vertical flute); rebap (small gourd bowed string instrument); tanbur (long necked, fretted string instrument).  The music was divine, mesmeric, wonderful; and the full house audience most appreciative.

Meanwhile, in other news:  My first time hosting a month of the 'mono monday' challenge in Blipfoto, thank you everyone for joining in with my "musical form" theme for the month of May and this second week's subject of "Impromptu" (mm225).  A fine, fun and fabulous album of entries from all over the globe, today's wow factor hearts go to:

"The river project" - beautiful and iconic idyllic childhood photograph by Lenah;

"Impromptu Surfing" - riding on the crest of the 'wow' factor category, a simply stunning moment caught by jensphotos;

"Mono monday 225 - impromptu" from SkiMe - best 'do I look good like this?' entry - a delightful moment caught on film memory card;

"Have you ever seen the rain" from gordo and "impromptu outing to the tip" from Honeycombebeach - two great character portraits and joint winners of this week's 'men in hats' category;

and finally: can't leave this week's mono monday without an 'honourable mention' for "This morning" (pipers mom) and, last but not least,  "hose" (Hobbs) for his "I don't know why you shot it nor why I like it either, but you did and I do and thank goodness enough blippers did too and told you to tag it mm225" category.

Looking forward to next week already, keyword to be announced on Saturday - meanwhile, if anyone would like to host MonoMonday after me, please get in touch with Skeena
