Absolutely Quackers

As I was about to tuck into the steak that MrQ had BBQd for me I glanced towards the northerly boiler house chimney. Quite a few birds use it as a perch, it's a great vantage point. I photographed Kes on it last week. I've never seen ducks up there before. It's forty feet from the ground.

I grabbed the camera and got the above shot of the female mallard looking down at me just before the pair flew.  When I'd finished eating I had another look and they were back. (Extras) Wonder if they'll stay up there all night? :)
