Basil Investigates a Crutch

Sorry folks, just too weary today to try hard. I had just taken some photos of reflections off the water in the pond on one of the cranes standing by it, but they were awful.

Then Basil came by, sniffing, as you can see. Can't really tell why the armpiece of my crutch should be so exciting. Anyway, Len has taken him for a much needed walk. I do miss not being able to take him out. Can't handle the lead and a crutch at the same time.

Out in the garden you realise that it's not as hot as it seems. There's a chill in the breeze, for which I'm thankful.

The good news today is that 'Carnival Elegance' gained a Highly Commended in the Photography section of the Ashby Arts Festival. We shall visit the exhibition at the weekend, in sh'Allah.
