Goat's beard

For now the Goat's beard buds are tightly shut, but as soon as they open there will be a froth of white blossom covering the plants. It doesn't last all that long, but is spectacular while it's there, and the foliage then looks good right into autumn. 

We seem to be moving into summer now, although the high humidity is bit odd for this time of year. The warmth is welcome, but the weather seems a bit back to front.
