An Airport Day

The taxi (actually a very posh airport transfer vehicle, with suited and tied chauffeur) arrive on the dot of 7:30 and took us to the airport. Bag dropped, then a spot of something to eat and drink and then the interminable waiting. Security is nicely managed at Prague - it is carried out at the gate just prior to boarding.

Managed a shot of this Aeorflot plane which was at the next gate to ours (taken through the slightly blue glass).

It was very warm and sunny when we left (it has been high twenties / low thirties all week) which was in complete contrast to the twelve degrees at Leeds/Bradford airport when we arrived. Still only thirteen when we got back home and the house was freezing - so I am sad to say the heating was put on for an hour!

After a coffee / snack I took our son back home and then went for a bit of shopping to see us through tonight and tomorrow morning.

Had to cut the grass which had grown so much in just a week and then water all the plants (which mostly seem to have survived). The washing machine is on its third load - two lots hanging outside, hoping to dry.

Not even managed to read any journals today…
