Wild Flower Week -1

Packed last night so it was a quick getaway this morning.
We arrived in Catforth just outside Preston in good time before the race .
Met up with M , one of the athletes Mr P coaches and they talked about training schedules and future plans. M is at Uni and in September he is going to Canada as part of his course but they still plan to carry on with their partnership while he is away.
It was really hot and it was a two lap race, M was in the lead until 6k but eventually came in third place overtaken by more experienced runners. Nevertheless M got a personal best time for a 10K.
My job was to take his pulse as soon as he finished.
Mr P will then work out M’s training for the next few weeks based on that reading, not quite sure how he does that!
As it was hot Mr P just jogged round, heat doesn’t suit him.

After the race was over we continued to Wales , not a bad journey and we arrived to a very hot caravan!
All windows and doors are wide open, it’s such a warm and sunny day and the forecast is good for the next couple of days.

I’m taking part in the new weekly challenge for Wildflowers hosted by Miranda who has set a fantastic example all year of how to photograph them at their best.
You can take a photograph any day, (but it must be posted on that date ) all of the week from Sunday up until midnight on the following Saturday .
Just tag it # WFW-01.
Do have a go!

I did consider waiting to get a sunset but WiFi is so poor here l don’t want to risk it being too late to post my blip due to no connection.
Hence comments may be thin on the ground from me but l will be looking at your journals at every opportunity to leave stars and hearts.
