Poppy Power

A lovely walk in the Kent countryside this morning with John's nephew who lives in the area.  The weather was good and the views spectacular - I wasn't given long enough to do decent poppy pics but allowed to return at the end of the walk.  By then I was exhausted and, as it meant crawling along on the field and fighting my way through the 'weeds', I was even more tired at the end.

Food and beer restored the energy levels and we moved on to see an amazing church at Barfestone (extra) - Norman in origin and a lot of Norman stonework still in place - wonderful.  I think some of the lanes we needed to use to get there though were not best suited to a wider than average vehicle!

One day left and several places to visit - better not be late away tomorrow from this site.
