Pictures for an exhibition

Some of my paintings for the WWI exhibition we're setting up at the Historical Society in late summer in conjunction with a 1919 Homecoming Party we're recreating in late fall.

French Wheat Fields 60 years after the war in near Thiancourt France from a slide I shot in 1978. Fog, to be used with some text about soldiers leaving the US shores in 1917. Safely Home, my grandfather, the Yankee Division Doughboy and two Ocean paintings to accompany information about the vessels transporting US troops to and from France.

For the Record,
This day came in cool and cloudy with showers. A heatwave in on the way.

all hands happy to have the weekend here!
