Mackerel skies

I missed the best position to catch those clouds as they gently coloured.  I was still on the break wall when they were at there best.  Ah well.  This was when I was giving the hounds a stretch of their legs this evening.

Hamish and I visited the nursing home this morning, went looking for some outdoor furniture, then home, washing in, then over to the Aunts with a baking dish and then walkies.  The hounds are exhausted and fast asleep as I am typing now and you know what they say about sleeping dogs.

Thanks so much for the love on yesterdays.  I am thinking of going back and timing it when the milky way is at a lower angle but I need a wider lens.  20 mm is not wide enough.  Hmmmmmm
