Mountain hare

We were up in the hills again today, this time with Winsford and MrT to climb the Sow of Atholl. It was a relatively easy walk compared with some our other exploits over the past few days (notably Ben Hope in a gale on Monday!)

Winsford blipped me between Mr hazelh and MrT at the summit. Meanwhile I was lucky enough to capture a shot of one of the mountain hares that we saw running across the moorland. (We also brought a less desirable creature home with us - a tick that attached itself to Mr hazelh's left foot.)

We came home (to Pitlochry) via House of Bruar, then relaxed for a while before embarking on the evening's entertainment of drinks, dinner, and Catan.

When we head home 'proper' to Edinburgh tomorrow it will be the end of our holiday :-(

Exercise today: walking (14,023 steps)
