Reasons to be cheerful!

Think everyone in the England will be happy today with the glorious, hot sunshine over the weekend and the England result yesterday. I'm sure the people living here would be. We pass this house every Monday morning on our way Bingley Methodist Church for Community Singing. I blipped the Flag of St George a couple of months ago, since then there has been a royal standard, no doubt for the Royal Wedding last month and now this.

We had a great sing, all new songs. Over £850 was raised for Pancreatic Cancer research on Saturday night at our concert with more to come in. We even had a contribution to hand over from our Saturday night's taxi driver!

Packing this afternoon and I'm roasted.
We are invited out this evening for a meal with a friend to save us cooking, which is most kind especially as our fridge is now virtually empty.

(PS I'm not really a football fan but it's nice for there to be something for everyone to be cheerful about! - Having said that there are bound to be some saying it's too hot and have other opinions on the football - not going there though it is a bit hot!)
