Blessed shade

Another day tramping the hot dry hills of the White Peak in Staffordshire. In an austere landscape, trees become focal points and provide much needed shade for people and livestock. We found a couple of interesting plants on our journey - Good King Henry and Orpine naturalised on a Stone Wall, but the most exciting sighting was a family of Spotted Flycatchers in the valley.
