Independence

Morning Laughter.
Heard The Fox give a wonderful presentation. Independence and personal responsibility. A coffee and fun chat with SW.

On my way home, I saw this born to be wild motorcycle momma enjoying a ride. Green light to freedom and independence. Check out her face in the mirror in large.

Met a kind 86-year old Korean war veteran at the gas station who was honored for me to take his picture. The softest hand I ever shook. Cane, bandages, implant of some sort, huge sunglasses, limp, short of breath. Limited but still moving about on his own, donned in a patriotic shirt and shorts.

A dear friend CC is in the hospital for long-awaited heart treatment that has a 35% success rate. Everyone else is enjoying the holiday indoors due to another torrential downpour. Our street flooded again but not as badly as yesterday.

I’ll be whiping up some ketogenic fat bombs for the first time today.

Grateful for health, friends, independence, and freedom; for those who made and continue to make mine and ours possible.
