Evening Walk

It was the last day of the Little Misses' Apple Camp today. But all the photos I took are rubbish or full of other people's children so it's a field of daisies instead!
They enjoyed the last session. We watched all the films the kids had made and in my - completely objective - opinion, the Little Misses' were by far the best. Coherent plots, effective mise-en-scene, powerful dramatic performances, tension, dramatic flow and a wonderful balance of humour and pathos.
Those of you who've seen the videos on Facebook will agree I'm sure!!!!!!
After viewing the masterpieces we walked up to John Lewis for lunch. Despite their pleas we managed to walk past Claire's Accessories, Paperchase, Smiggle, The Body Shop and (randomly) Clinton's!!
We did end up buying a metre of blue satiny fabric so they could make a dolphin door stop(!)
Miss E appeared later with it tied round her neck looking like a junior Wonder Woman so we'll see if the dolphin ever materialises!!
Archie was so good this morning taking his painkillers in his food. He wolfed it down as I didn't add mixer. He's all about the meat!!
The antibiotics were trickier. Channelling his great uncle Monty he managed to nibble on the chicken like a delicate little fairy and dropped the tablet on the floor twice before I finally wedged it in far enough for him not to notice!
Mr K washed his neck with salty water this morning and it seems much better already.
Archie's neck rather than his own!!
