I Finally Did It!

Dear Diary,

I decided with my up-coming trip to Scotland and England fast approaching, I would finally do what I have been threatening to do for a long time.  I bought a good, small, light-weight camera, a Canon Powershot SX720.  When I was in Boston visiting DDW I tried hers and I liked the feel of it in my hand.  It arrived late in the day yesterday.  Now, I will need to work my way through the rather large owners manual.

I will feel a bit strange leaving behind my old Nikon D90, it has been on many trips with me and is an awesome camera but I have to travel light now.  Getting use to not looking through the lens for my shot will not be easy but I'm sure I will adapt.  The little Nikon Coolpix I bought this winter did not pass muster for me and then it inexplicably disappeared about a week ago.  I've looked everywhere for it and simply cannot find it.  So strange. I took it as a message from the Universe that I needed to buy a good small camera so...here it is!
