More experiments with flash

I want to settle down and read a lot about using my new flashgun, but the days just spill over with other activities.

Annette - soon to be married - and her daughter, Amy, were at my house today. Annette is our Little Miss Sparkle and Amy was helping her to make our place look immaculate, well, more accurately, CLEAN, but still with a touch of untidiness in my part of the house!

They were both quite willing victims subjects. I asked Amy to stand with the bright light from the kitchen windows behind her and used TTL flash. Annette was in a darker room, as you can see by the size of her pupils.

Now I need to work out how to reduce the flash value. Work in progress.

Arth and Aggie are much more comfortable after yesterday's punishing walk. They even tolerated 15 minutes on the exercise bike.

Our friend, Bob, however, slipped on his wet lawn last Saturday, during a thunderstorm, and tore one patella tendon. This is a serious injury. The surgery to repair it took 3 hours and he has a plaster from toe to groin. He was remarkably cheerful when we went to visit this afternoon.
