Birthday Bouquet

For FlowerFriday. 
Caroline, whose Flowers these are had a Birthday on 1st August and a wedding anniversary on the 31st July and these flowers, and a few other vases full, are hers.  She still works at the coalface (my old office) but not for much longer as she's on the road to retirement too but today, a day off from the coalface, she invited me and four other ex-workers to a lunch party in her lovely home.  The weather has been nice and warm but not over sunny but we sat outside in C's lovely garden, had a delicious lunch and mulled over old times.  Really great to get together with dear old friends who I've known for over 40 years, and it's Friday again already.
