More Autumn Colours

More autumn colours and more rain today. I thought it was time I had a look at Johnston Gardens in the West End of Aberdeen. Some of the plants near the lake are quite spectacular in Autumn. Well that must have been a few weeks ago, the plants I expected to see covered in colourful foliage were bare. The surface of the lake was almost completely covered in leaves as the ducks paddled through the water.

The trees that still had leaves were loosing them so fast it was a storm of leaves floating down. There were some workmen attending to the Garden but very few visitors while I was there. I managed to time my visit to a break in the rain, though the sky looked very threatening, and the rain resumed later on.
