Sailing

We treated ourselves to a totally fabulous boat trip today on board a large catamaran. This is the view up the sails from the deck where 5 of us were sunbathing whilst Dad was taking a turn at the helm; beaming.

The captain and crew used the engines in the morning as we left Victoria for the island of Moyenne, home to a large number of giant tortoises (extra). After an island tour, a successful first deep water snorkel session for both Mum & Dad and a bbq lunch, they raised the sails however which was much more fun than engine power.

The other extra is a Lionfish, which Lauren spotted and Anthony dived down to get a clearer picture of. They’re about 30cm long and poisonous but quite spectacular looking.
