A New Beginning

The first day at Elgin Academy for the Grand-twins. Where did the time go?
It seems just a moment ago that they were cuddled together in their cot, and son#1 and daughter-in-law #1 pitched in to an endless routine of feeding and nappy changing. At 6+ lbs each, they were robust and hungry. I helped out for the first 3 weeks while the local Granny was still working but had to hand over when she retired. You forget how terrifying it is for young couples to suddenly be responsible for looking after new babies. Happily they soon learn!
I hope the twins prosper at High School as they have done in their years at primary school.

We have a friend of His Lordship’s coming for lunch today and have selfishly made my favourite calorie ridden sweet to have with our coffee. It features in my extra image.
