MonoMonday: "Compact"!

Laurie54 wants us to use the theme "Compact" for today's MonoMonday, and encourages lateral thinking.

OK, you asked for it, Laurie!...I thought I'd indulge myself and take lateral thinking to the extreme. "Compact" was the name of  BBC SOAP OPERA (geddit?) which ran from 1962 to 1965. There's a clip from the TV show here - "BBC English" at its best!

(Apologies to those - presumably including Laurie! - who were either not-yet-born or lived elsewhere than the UK in the 1960s.)
